*Artist . Designer . Thinker*
Born in Maryland and now based in Utah, Jean-Claude is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work blends audio, architecture, code, storytelling, and interactive media. With a journey that began in sound design and expanded through computer science, architecture, and game design, Jean-Claude is deeply driven by a curiosity about the hidden emotional connections within the systems and environments that surround us. Each project seeks to capture a feeling — transforming it into an immersive experience where technology and design come together to explore new, meaningful forms of expression.
From a young age, Jean-Claude was fascinated by systems and the unseen rules that shape our world. Whether configuring networks or building computers, he was always drawn to how things connect and interact. This curiosity naturally evolved into an interest in music, spatial design, and game mechanics, where dynamic interactions took center stage. Studying architecture only deepened this understanding, revealing that design is less about dictating outcomes and more about setting the right conditions for things to emerge organically. Concepts like emergence and self-organization continue to inspire Jean-Claude's approach to interactive design, where small changes can create beautifully unpredictable results.
Through his creative studio Antiverse, Jean-Claude has directed a variety of projects — from albums and short films to experimental digital works and apparel capsules. No matter the medium, the heart of Jean-Claude's work is the same: creating emotionally resonant experiences that invite people to engage and participate. His concept album, Mainstream Daydream, tells an interactive, unfolding story through music, while game prototypes built in Unity explore themes of isolation, connection, and agency in worlds that adapt and change with the player.
For Jean-Claude, innovation is about more than just pushing the boundaries of technology — it’s about blending emotion with structure, story with system, and discovery with design. The ultimate goal is to create experiences that move people, spark reflection, and foster connection. It’s about using design to help us understand ourselves, each other, and the world around us in deeper, more meaningful ways.
