**Joshua Citarella - Artists After the Internet - v.2020 Fall**
> This course explores how digital networks are culturally, politically and materially reshaping the world. We enter through “post-internet” artworks of the 2010’s, look at the underlying ideology of early cyberculture and examine the hidden material realities of these networks today. How has social media become a tool of social and political control? What is the ideology of Silicon Valley and how do they understand the role of the state? What now happens to culture? Is there any way out?
